Password Reset PRO is licensed on a per-seat basis.
Password Reset PRO licenses are issued tied to a specific active directory domain, generally for a specific number of seats. Unlimited perpetual seat licenses are available for any domain with over 7,500 licensable users. For annual licensing, unlimited seat licenses for a single domain are available for any domain with over 10,000 licensable users.
A Password Reset PRO license is required for every domain user in a domain where:
- The user is enabled (disabled users do not use a license)
- The user has an expiring password (if the user does not have a password that expires, ir will not use a license)
- The user is required to have a password (some system accounts are not required to have a password, these will not use a license).
Password Reset PRO allocates licenses to users based on the order they were added to active directory - oldest to newest.
